Walking

Something as simple as going for a walk can have numerous benefits. Not only does this help improve cardiovascular health, it can improve your mood, self-esteem and decrease stress. Walking can also improve bone health and strength. Our bodies were no meant to sit in front of computer screens. Setting aside certain times to move around in your daily routine can help compensate for a sedentary lifestyle.

Running

Not all of us are runners and that’s ok, but that shouldn’t deter you from lacing up and heading out the door. A run/walk method is perfect for anyone of all fitness levels. Utilizing the run/walk method will get your heart rate up enough so you can still reap the benefits of improved cardiovascular health, improved metabolism, as well as weight management.

Hiking

Dare to explore? Going on a hiking adventure is always something worth while. With the different terrain, changing altitudes, and the ability to soak in all of what mother nature has to offer, this has the most benefits of being outdoors. Being amongst the trees in a forrest setting has both physical and emotional benefits that are said to be greater than both walking or running. Nature has a tendency to calm us.
